Hoof Pictures:

When I first met this little arab mare she was rarely sound and hadn't been able to be ridden for sometime.

She had multiple issues with her feet.

Six trims later

Notice her heels are in the middle of her foot. They were severely underun.

Six trims later

This is a picture of the underneath of the same hoof.

Notice that the sole is starting to build it's own concavity, the heels are moving back to a more normal position, and her frog is starting to callus.

This is the right front.

After 6 trims

The Underneath

after 6 trims

She was so migrated into the hoof capsule that her heels had to be lowered a little bit at a time, to allow for P3 return home. We still have a long way to go.

This next little girl was roaming on 4 acres of grass.

Her hooves were in dire straights. I have done one trim and suggested a drastic diet change.

This is one set of pics.

After the first rim

I know I could have taken a little more off this girl, but she didn't have x-rays and I am going back in two weeks.

More photo's later.
